The Master Plan
There are several key parts to building a solid website which will rank well in the search engines and continue to grow over long haul. This can be a mind boggling task, especially if you are building it yourself and even more so, if you lack experience. Take it from one who is a self-taught, do-it-yourselfer - it really can be done. You just need to use the right strategy and follow a set plan.
Face it - You can no longer whip up a site in one day and expect to make money. That's not saying it is not possible, because it is - it just takes more time and work than it used to, in order to generate income for more than a few weeks. Those of us who have been doing this kind of thing for a while know that.
Myth - There is no such thing as a "set it and forget it" program that will make you money for a long run. Good sites need to be fed and need to grow.
The Master Plan, written by Charles Heflin, who coined the phrase "silo-structure", is a smart, common sense theory that consists of an organized plan, site structure and traffic development plan.
It is written in a no-nonsense (no fluff), easy to understand (even for the novice)manner that takes away the mystery of Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) and keyword research.
You will use it as your step-by-step guide and like myself, probably refer back to it often. To find out more about this indispensable guide go to The Master Plan.
